But he knows the way that I take. When he has tried me, I will come out like gold.

Job 23:10 · WEB
Today’s word

In the midst of suffering and unanswered questions, Job expressed confidence that God knew the way he took. He could not make sense of all that was happening, yet he held to the belief that his life was known to God.

There are seasons when we cannot see where the journey is leading. Prayer may feel difficult, circumstances may remain unsettled and the growth we hoped to recognize may be hidden. Those experiences do not place us beyond the Father’s knowledge or care.

Job’s words do not require us to call every painful event a test sent by God. They encourage us to trust Him within what we cannot explain. He is able to form endurance, deepen faith and bring healing even where suffering has raised questions we cannot answer.

Today, ask God to help you recognize His work within you without pretending the pain is small. Receive support where you need it and keep bringing your heart before Him. You may not yet understand the way, but you can remain open to the One who knows you and is faithful to sustain you through it.

I declare

God knows the way I am taking, and I am not forgotten. I receive grace to remain open to His transforming work within this season. My questions do not remove me from His care, and my hope rests in His faithfulness.

Prayer

Father, You know the parts of this journey I cannot understand. Sustain me where I am weary and bring healing where I am hurting. Help me recognize what You are forming within me without denying my need for care. Keep my faith anchored in You while the way remains hidden.

Amen.
